11 Playgrounds to Check Out!

1.) Connor's Place Playground 96 Field St Somers, CT

Connor's Place Playground is an excellent place to play! From the playscapes, fields, basketball courts & covered picnic area, there's plenty to do!

2.) Enfield Rotary Accessible Playground.Enfield Public Library 104 Middle Rd Enfield, CT

This has been a favorite playground of ours for awhile. The playground is broken up into two sections one for the older children & one the younger children. There's a covered picnic area.

3.) Kloter Farms 216 West Rd Ellington, CT.

Kloter Farms is pretty much a second home to us in the summer. We love the icecream. They have playscapes & kids cottages set up! We always have fun at Kloter Farms!

4.) Robert Tedford Memorial Park Hatheway Rd CT-140 Ellington, CT (by Rolling Meadows Country Club)

This park has a lot to offer. There are baseball, softball, soccer & football fields. There are also tennis courts, nice structured playground & volleyball court. Plus a covered pavilion.

5.) Boundless Playground 150 Nevers Rd South Windsor, CT 

This playground is AWESOME! There are three sections to this playground. One section is for ages 2-5. Another section for ages 5-12. Then there's a section for all ages. Great for sensory skills!

6.) Adam's Adventure 67 Rhodes Rd Tolland, CT'

Adam’s Adventure is a playground where children of all abilities can play freely!  It is a place where there are no limitations and where there is something for everyone.  Adam’s Adventure is designed to accommodate not only Mobility Impairments, but also Auditory Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cognitive Impairments, Visual Disabilities and more.  Whether they wish to swing, to climb, to play music, or just need a quiet place to rest, the children will find it there.  It is A Playground for EVERYONE!

7.) Wickham Park 1329 West Middle Turnpike Manchester, CT

There are three public playgrounds located throughout Wickham Park. The largest playscape is located right next to  Aviary & directly across from the Nature Center. The other playscapes are located within the Hickory & Hemlock picnic areas. Wickham Park is a non-profit, private foundation whose property extends into both Manchester and East Hartford, Connecticut. The park contains 280 acres of gardens, open fields, woodlands, ponds, picnic areas, sports facilities etc. 

8.) Henry Park 120 South Street Vernon, CT 

Henry Park has a variety of amenities available for public use and enjoyment.  Grove and Pavilion with picnic tables, playground, fields for softball and baseball, courts for volleyball, tennis, and basketball, spray Tower (seasonal), Horowitz Pool (season, pool entrance fees apply).

9.) Hyde Park Hyde Park Rd, Stafford Springs, CT

Decent sized skate park & playscape. 

10.) Brainard Park  137 Brainard Rd, Enfield, CT

The playground is located in the main entrance of the park. There are also baseball and soccer fields, a basketball court and woods for walking. 

11.) Sunrise Park 2075 Mountain Rd West Suffield, CT

The playground is fantastic!
