This is a family friendly Pride event with a parade, activities, games, music and guest speakers. We would love to have you join us and see the community of Ellington come together!
Pride Parade will meet at 2:00 at Ellington High School and walk on the sidewalks down towards the plaza with the Post Office. We will then walk up the sidewalk towards Arbor Park. Bring your posters, bring your PRIDE colors, and bring your family!
Wonderful tables will be set up to enjoy after the parade! Ellington Equality, Youth Services, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and Hartford Area Roller Derby along with many individuals. Bella (the organizer) will be offering watercolor painting, Courtney will be offering Rainbow friendship bracelets, Josie Bernard and some of her Girl Scout friends will be offering a game, Josie Carmicheal will be selling homemade Pride Jewelry, Archer Carmicheal will be hosting a duck pond game and Emily Costanzo from Quinnipiac University will have a table!
Adam’s Ice cream will be at the Pride event from 2-3:15 pm!!! And he accepts credit cards.
