5 of Our Favorite Places to Visit During Fall 

1.) Pumpkin Patch Trolley- The Connecticut Trolley Museum presents Pumpkin Patch Trolley This fundraising event is extremely important to funding the museum’s operations. Pumpkin Patch Trolley is a family fun filled adventure where you ride on a trolley car out to the pumpkin patch field and each child can pick out a FREE sugar-sized Pumpkin. Additionally, when you return back to the museum campus you can decorate the pumpkins, play in the corn box, enjoy the outside harvest play area, the museum exhibits and displays. Admission also includes the Fire Truck Museum which is located on the Trolley Museum campus. The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday starting September 28th. Pumpkin Patch will also be open Monday, Oct. 14th for Columbus Day. Admission is $15 for Adults, $14 for Seniors, $14 for Youth (ages 12-17), $13 for Children (ages 2-11) & under 2 is free. Museum Members receive half off admission. All activities are included in admission. Under the age of two must sit on the lap of an accompanied adult on the trolley ride. 2.) Foster Family Farm Corn Maze-  Opening day September 14th. Open Saturday and Sundays in September 10am- 6pm. OPEN EVERYDAY IN OCTOBER. OPEN 10am - 6pm. October 1st - October 31st! Located at 90 Foster Street South Windsor, CT 

3.) Browns Harvest-  Fall season opening event Apple Fest @ Brown's Harvest is September 21st and September 22nd. ! Their 5 acre corn maze and hayrides will begin. Get an early start on pumpkins and other fall decorations. Don't miss out on the first apple cider donuts of the season! Located at 1911 Poquonock Ave Windsor, CT. 

4.) Farmer’s Hayride- OPENING WEEKEND SEPTEMBER 28th and 29th. Hours: 10am-5pm Every Saturday and Sunday. Special Days Monday October 14th and November 2nd and 3rd. Hayrides, petting zoo, sunflower maze, pumpkin and gourd picking, meet the characters, photo ops and hand-feed daily cows. Located at 13 Niederwerfer Rd Broad Brook, CT 06016. 

5.) Irish Bend Orchard- Open Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm. Picking Asian pears. Also picking Honeycrisp, Cortland and Macoun apples. Located at 90 Pioneer Hts Somers, CT 06071
