Experience the magic of Winterfest at the CT Trolley Museum!
This event is designed for children with special needs and their families and friends, including participants of the Best Buddies Program. Thursday November 21st 5pm-7pm.
Ride the trolley through the tunnel of lights, explore decorated trolleys, have a meet and greet with Santa, and enjoy cookies prepared by Enfield High Students!
A team of volunteers including special education and related professionals will be available to help in whatever ways we can. All trolley rides are wheelchair accessible, we will have visuals available around the events, and we will have a limited number of noise canceling headphones (the trolleys are loud, so if this is an issue and you have some available, consider bringing your own). Most of all, we are always welcome and understanding; if you need help, ask! We can assign an extra set of hands for your family, or we can try to implement whatever other accommodations you think will be helpful.
The cost for the event is $5.00/person and you must preregister HERE.
