7 places to pick some perfect pumpkins!

1.) Take a Trolley ride to the Pumpkin Patch Field and pick out the Perfect Pumpkin at Connecticut Trolley Museum. Pumpkin Patch is a family fun filled adventure where you ride on a trolley car through the fall forest to the pumpkin patch field and each person can pick out a pumpkin. Each person will receive a bag filled with stickers to decorate their pumpkin. The Art & Craft tables will be open for the enjoyment of visitors. The Visitor Center will be open and decorated for Halloween. The Fire Truck Museum which is housed on the same property as the Trolley Museum will be open and included in Museum admission. Admission is $13 per person (all ages) and half off for Museum Members. Visitors are required to bring and wear masks or cloth face covering that completely covers the nose and mouth unless doing so would be contrary to his or her health or safety due to a medical condition. Visitors will be asked to leave the property if they are not willing to comply and may face additional sanctions if the East Windsor Police Department is called to assist. Open Thursday- Sunday 10am-4pm. September 24th - October 31st. Located at 58 North Rd East Windsor, CT 06088. Tickets must be purchased in advance. There will be no ticket sales at the Trolley Museum on the day-of the event. Admission is $13 per person (all ages) and half off for Museum Members. Click here to purchase tickets.

2.) Foster Family Farm Corn Maze-  Pick your own pumpkins open Wednesday- Sunday 10 am-5pm. 90 Foster St South Windsor, CT 06074.

3.) Browns Harvest- We are open seasonally. Check for current hours. 10-5pm, Wed-Sunday, Sept 19th through Nov. 1st. - Hayrides. Kids group Fall tours begin 9/27. MAZE opens 9/19. 4.) Windy Hill Farm take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch. Feed the cows on the hayride. Then visit the our animals in the petting zoo. Masks are required. Opened Saturday and Sundays 10am-5pm. Located at 13 Niederwerfer Rd Broad Brook, CT 06016. 

5.) Irish Bend Orchard- Open Friday-Sunday 9am-5pm. Still picking apples. All pumpkins are $5. Located at 90 Pioneer Hts Somers, CT 06071

6.) Fair Weather Acres- The 2020 Fair Weather Growers Fall Fest and Cornmaze is here!!  This year because of Covid-19 guidelines you MUST purchase your tickets online at www.fairweathergrowers.com In order for this event to take place we must limit attendance. And you will choose a specific time block to visit. September 18th – November 1st (Friday Saturday, Sunday and Columbus Day Monday Oct 12th). Located at 101 County Line Drive,  Cromwell CT.

 7.) Westview Farms Creamery- Come visit the Corn Maze at Westview Farms Creamery!  6 acre corn maze will be open. 11am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The nighttime flashlight maze will be open on Friday and Saturday nights until 8pm. Adults, $12, Children ages 5-12, $8 children 4 and under are free. Cash or credit cards accepted. 2.) NOT-SO-SCARY HALLOWEEN drive through event at Ray of Light Farm. Drive through dates are: October 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th. 5:45pm - 8:00pm. An experience designed for young children, but fun for all ages! Come see our magical Pony Trail, decorated and lit up for Halloween! You will find all sorts of exciting sights on the way, as well as our human characters dressed to the occasion! Candy will be passed out to the little visiting goblins. 3.) Drive Through Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. Experience a spooktacular new way to celebrate the Halloween season! Citizens Bank presents a drive-through Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at Roger Williams Park Zoo Thursday, October 1 – Sunday, November 1, 2020. Celebrate Special Places while staying safe inside your car enjoying thousands of intricately carved pumpkins as you immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the Halloween season. Trail will be open nightly 6:30pm – 11:00 pm. Gates will close at 10:30 pm. Tickets are online sales ONLY and sold for each half hour. Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is open rain or shine. 4.) Haunted Drive Through. Heritage Woods will be holding a FREE spooky drive through, "The Haunted Woods," on Friday, October 30th from 5pm-8pm.
